Reviews
What people are saying about Resound's AI podcast editing:
"The UI/UX is near Apple design level in terms of simplicity. I didn’t need to read any of your documentations to get started. The interface just makes sense—clean yet powerful." (Patrick on Trustpilot)
"When I discovered the Resound app, I was overjoyed. Anyone who edits audio knows all too well how challenging it is to find all the eh's, munchies, etc. Plus the quality of the spoken word editing is great - clear voice" (Miroslav on Trustpilot)
"Honestly, Resound has saved me probably hundreds of hours at this point." (Jacob Wolf – Award-Winning Investigative Reporter, Founder of Overcome, resound.fm)
"When I heard how much better Enhance made our audio sound I immediately got excited." (Logan Jones, Co-Host & Partner at Middle Tech Podcast, resound.fm/enhance)
FAQ
What is Resound?
Resound is the AI editing app for podcasters. Resound exists to automate the tedious parts of podcasting so that you can focus on your message, not your mess-ups.
Do I need experience to use Resound?
No experience required. Resound is designed to be easy for podcasters of all experience levels to quickly edit out mistakes like umms and ahhs from their podcast.
How does Resound compare to other editing apps out there?
Great question! We wrote detailed comparisons for you to check out below:
- Resound vs. Descript: https://www.resound.fm/blog/resound-vs-descript
- Resound vs. Adobe Podcast: https://www.resound.fm/blog/resound-vs-adobe-podcast

How does Resound calculate processing time?
Time is calculated at the project level, based on the longest file length in that project. For example, if you upload 4 audio files into one project each with 60 minutes that will count as one hour (the project length), not 4 hours. If one of the four tracks was 65 minutes but all the other tracks were 60 minutes then you would use up 65 minutes of your plan, the longest files duration. Time is calculated down to the millisecond for accuracy but simplified into minutes and seconds for convenience on the front end.
Does Resound support video?
Right now Resound can import audio and video, but only exports audio. We are actively working on the ability to export video and how to add it very soon (within a few months of November 2023).
