Everywhere I go, I hear the words “Agentic AI.”

It started at an AI conference in Vegas about four weeks ago. I was controlling our little dancing robot dog in the middle of the expo hall, giving my usual spiel when I heard whispers of “Agentic AI” over my shoulder. Similar whispers from different voices approached from over my other shoulder. And every conversation from the convention’s booths to the buffet line at least touched on the topic of Agentic AI.

Clearly, I had to do some research. And what I found blew my mind.
