Deepgram Startup Program Terms of Service
Deepgram’s Startup Program gives early-stage companies free promotional credits so they can build, test, and scale products without worrying about upfront transcription or AI costs.
These Deepgram Startup Program Terms of Service (“Program Terms”) apply to your participation in the Deepgram Startup Program (“Program”) and are a binding agreement between you and Deepgram, Inc. (“Deepgram,” “we,” or “us”).
You represent to us that you are authorized to enter into these Program Terms.
By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to these Program Terms. These Program Terms are in addition to the Deepgram Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility & Participation
You must have an active Deepgram account to apply and participate. Your participation in the Program is subject to our approval and ongoing eligibility, which we determine in our sole discretion.
You agree to provide complete and accurate information in your application, including information about your company’s funding, product, and team.
2. Program Credits
If accepted, you may receive free usage credits for Deepgram services (“Promotional Credits”). All Promotional Credits:
- Are issued at Deepgram’s sole discretion (including amount and timing)
- Are non-transferable, non-refundable non-sellable, and may not be shared or gifted
- Expire 12 months from the issue date unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Can only be used after you’ve used up Deepgram’s standard signup credits
- May only be used on the Pay As You Go plan
- Are tied to the project, and not an individual user
- May be used for your product development (not competitor research)
Instead of paying per transaction, usage is deducted from your credit balance according to the then-existing Pay as You Go Pricing. You can track the balance in your online account settings. ]
Promotional Credits have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash or refunds.
3. Use of Your Name and Logo
You grant Deepgram a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use your company’s name, website, logo, and any trademark, service mark, or trade name to identify you as a Program participant in our marketing. This includes use on our website, social media, presentations, emails, and other promotional materials.
4. Program Changes and Termination
Deepgram may change, suspend, or terminate the Program—or your participation in it—at our discretion. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Startup Program if you violate these Program Terms, the Deepgram Terms of Service, pose a security risk, could subject us or our affiliates to liability, or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal conduct.
5. Miscellaneous
Neither party, nor any of their respective affiliates, is an agent of the other for any purpose or has the authority to bind the other.
We may update these Program Terms at any time by posting a revised version at deepgram.com/startup-program or providing notice to you.
