The Audition

One continuous recording, aiming for roughly 60–90 seconds. Disfluencies — natural hesitations, “ums,” and other filler words — are totally fine and expected. Don’t write down what you’re going to say or over-rehearse; we truly want to hear how you sound when you are just talking to someone. This recording serves as your application. Please ensure you’re happy with the recording before submitting.

We’d love to hear the person behind the voice! In one continuous recording (60–90 seconds), tell us a bit about yourself: where did you grow up (30–45 seconds), and what is a random hobby or passion of yours (30–45 seconds)?

How to deliver it: Start out speaking naturally about your hometown, like we’re getting to know each other over a cup of coffee.

The Twist: As you’re wrapping up the first section, pretend that we just interrupted you with an unexpected question about your hobby or passion. React to that imaginary interruption natively—give us a natural chuckle, a sigh, or a "Wow, okay, didn’t expect you to ask that, but..."—and then lean into telling us about your hobby with maximum energy and enthusiasm. Your delivery here should sound noticeably more passionate and high-energy than the first part—speak as if you are trying to convince your best friend that this is the coolest thing on the planet!

Upload one recording per language you speak — one file each. Max 100 MB each.
