Via Nielson

Via is a physicist driven by a fascination for quantum phenomena and has a soft spot for computers. Presently, she is studying quantum physics at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics with a focus on strings and alternate theories of quantum gravity. Alongside her academic pursuits, Via performs neural net research for Deepgram, where she nurtures her passion for computers and aims to further develop her skills in the field. With the help of her two cats and an undying sense of curiosity (hoping it won’t lead to any cat-related clichés), she aspires to contribute meaningfully to both physics and computer science.
