Are you ready for the latest and greatest feature from Deepgram? We’re excited to announce the release of our Endpointing feature, designed to get customers transcriptions as fast as possible.
When someone finishes speaking, the Endpointing feature provides a notification and a fast, finalized transcription of what’s just been said. Deepgram monitors incoming streaming audio and uses a powerful Voice Activity Detection algorithm to detects pauses. Once Deepgram detects an endpoint, it immediately finalizes the results for the processed time range and returns the transcript with a speech_final parameter set to true. This provides faster transcriptions, allowing businesses to make informed decisions based on the latest data.
The Endpointing feature is perfect for businesses that need to return finalized transcripts as soon as possible when a break in speech is detected. It can also detect when someone has finished speaking, making it easier for users to identify different speakers and follow the conversation more closely. Additionally, Endpointing can detect certain lengths of silence, providing businesses with valuable insights into how their customers are interacting with their products or services.
At Deepgram, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible with speech-to-text transcription. With our new Endpointing feature, we’re making it easier than ever before for businesses to unlock the power of spoken data and gain the competitive edge.
So what are you waiting for? Try out Deepgram's Endpointing feature today and experience the power of real-time speech-to-text transcription like never before.
